Home Delivery volunteers will help our Senior Net neighbors by picking up and delivering food from Network of Community Ministries to our neighbor's homes. Volunteers will go to the back of the building and park near the warehouse doors. Volunteers will then pack up and weigh out the delivery and bring the bags to your car. Once you arrive to the neighbor's home bring the bags and knock or ring the doorbell. If neighbor does not answer, please leave delivery in front of door. First time home delivery volunteers please refer to manual sent in confirmation email to ensure that delivery is packed correctly. 

Starting August 19, 2024, the Thurgood Marshall Elementary school is now the Disciplinary Alternative Educational Placement (DAEP) center. To limit confusion since the building is still marked Thurgood Marshall and many are familiar with Thurgood Marshall's location, we are keeping the Opportunity labeled as such for the time being.

Help us supervise of our neighbor's children while their parents participate in Parent Cafe. Parent Cafe is an opportunity for parents/guardians to build community and a safe space to talk about difficult topics. Our volunteers help with ensuring that child supervision is not a barrier for neighbors to participate. Network provides snacks and entertainment for the kids.

Senior Day volunteers will help serve food, keep our Neighbors company, and assist with the games or entertainment for that day. This volunteer opportunity is restricted, unless you have coordinated with our Senior's Net Coordinator. Any questions about this opportunity can be emailed to volunteer@thenetwork.org.
